Over the past month I’ve had quite the experience. Some of them have been fantastic and reminded me why I love this job, while others have simply reminded why organizations like Turning Point USA are a necessity in our country. While some schools are very receptive to our message of freedom and limited government, there are others that unfortunately have bought into the idea that government should take care of everyone. I, along with members of the Ohio State Turning Point USA Executive Board have been working hard to combat this and get a strong voice for freedom on these campuses.
I would like to give a shout out to two members of the executive board at Ohio State that have been extremely helpful with running our chapter as well as tabling at other campuses. Natalie Amrozowicz and Kadin Llewellyn have been doing great things for Turning Point USA, recruiting new members and spreading our message, and I would like to publicly thank them for all of their help, this job would be much more difficult without the two of you.
In addition to working on college campuses, I also had the pleasure of attending this year’s Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) with Turning Point. The organization of Turning Point at CPAC was absolutely astounding. We had 350 attendees there with us and everyone there knew who we were. I am so proud to be a member of this organization and I know what we are doing is making a difference in this country. I look forward to continuing my work in Ohio with Turning Point and make this country a better place that believes in freedom and limited government once again.
