It has been another fantastic month in the DMV area! I have identified close to 1,000 conservative students who believe “Big Government Sucks!” and with the help of extraordinary activists, nine new Turning Point USA chapters are being developed. Everyone loves TPUSA and the impact it has on their college campuses, but meet a few of my super-stars!

Miranda Jones, College of Southern Maryland, is starting a TPUSA chapter to educate her friends on limited government and fiscal responsibility.
“As a conservative Millennial, I thought I was in this fight alone. Turning Point USA introduced me to others who also fight for free markets and fiscal responsibility. I have a renewed confidence in my generation and the direction of my country thanks to TPUSA!”

Emily Hennig, George Washington University, has helped establish the Turning Point USA chapter through weekly tabling on campus.mb2“I love Turning Point because it gives a voice to millennials on issues that we often don’t get to have a voice on.”

Salvador Rosales, Montgomery College, is starting a Turning Point USA chapter to encourage his peers to be more involved in politics.mb3

Melissa Brown, Towson University, has started a Turning Point USA chapter and holds weekly discussion meetings for interested students.mb4“I love TPUSA because no matter where I am, as long as I’m surrounded by activists I’m at home.”

I have been so encouraged by these students who believe “Big Government Sucks” and follow their passion to make a difference on campus. It will be exciting to follow how they continue to promote limited government and free market capitalism.
