Craig Jensen is a computer programmer who became an entrepreneur out of necessity. He started his own business in 1981 to help computer system administrators cope with the worst problems of their jobs. He succeeded handsomely at that and his company flourished. It appeared on Inc. Magazine’s list of the 500 Fastest Growing Privately Held Companies in America four years in a row. Today it is the 12th oldest independent software company in the world and its flagship product is possibly the longest-selling computer program of all time. All the top 10 computer manufacturers have licensed Craig’s technologies to embed in their computers, and 80% of the Fortune 1000 companies use his company’s products on their computers. Craig is the company’s founder and Chairman of its Board of Directors.
Craig holds 20 patents and has published two books on computer technology.
But what truly sets Craig apart is that in addition to building and running a successful business, he has a life. He has been married to his wife Sally for over 40 years, his children are all successful in their own spheres and he participates in many non-business activities. He has traveled millions of miles to over 80 countries, has homes in Florida, Montana and Italy, and has friends just about everywhere. He is a passionate photographer, a writer, a musician and composer, a master marksman, a ski racer, a trained high-performance driver, a voracious reader and a sought-after public speaker.
Craig has met with various government officials in the USA and abroad to discuss human rights, and he testified before the House International Relations Committee, decrying the suppression of religious freedom for 98 minority religions in Western Europe. His testimony gave rise to a formal and public chastisement of a foreign government for human rights violations in watch reports issued by the US Departments of State and Trade.
Craig is a passionate and active supporter of Turning Point USA.
