Michele Bachmann, member of the US Congress for 8 years, ran for President in 2012. She is the first and only Republican woman to win a Presidential contest. Michele appeared in 15 televised Republican presidential debates.
Known for leading Congressional opposition to Obamacare, she is a former federal tax lawyer, started a mental health business with her husband Marcus, (to whom she’s been married 40 years).

She led an educational reform movement and helped start the first K-12 charter school in the United States, she raised 5 biological and 23 foster children, and is the grandparent of 2.
She presently serves as the Executive Director of SkylineUN a non profit representing evangelicals at the United Nations.
She is an author, internationally known speaker and serves as the co-chair of the Jerusalem Prayer Breakfast.
