Amy is the Senior Field Administrative Director for Turning Point USA. She grew up in northern Illinois and graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in Organizational Studies. Her involvement in conservative activism began as a sophomore at Drake University while interning for the Republican Party of Iowa and working to start a TPUSA chapter. After pitching the idea at a student government meeting with other interested students, the chapter request was denied. The Student Senate considered TPUSA to have a “hateful record” and to be unfit for campus culture. Following the incident in 2016, she was recruited to work for TPUSA’s Campus Leadership Project and transferred to the University of Iowa where she completed her degree. In 2018, Amy relocated to Phoenix, AZ to become the Administrative Director of TPUSA’s National Field Program. At the start of 2020, she was promoted to Senior Director. Amy’s favorite part of working for TPUSA is continually seeking new ways to rebrand the conservative movement to connect with the average young person. She looks forward to growing with TPUSA and advancing the National Field Program.
