So far, we have garnered the support of almost 1,000 students that believe in the protection of the 1st amendment on college campuses. Want to become a free speech activist? Be sure to follow our social media pages to keep up to date on our latest events!

This month has gone by so fast. The biggest and best event was obviously CPAC, it was great to be around so many people who are passionate about achieving the same goal. I think it was a total success. The picture below is of my group of HS students and they were phenomenal. They went above and beyond I couldn’t have asked for more hard working or dedicated students. They were all very knowledgeable about Turning Point and our goal as well as personable in terms of getting data collection. It was great to see so many of my coworkers I don’t see on a day to day basis as well! The speakers were amazing, the fact that Turning Point brought nearly 400 students to CPAC is something to be proud of in itself. Without this job I would never have had the opportunity to attend CPAC and am so appreciative for all I have been offered through this organization.

We also hosted a debate Watch Party at the University of Iowa and it was fun to get together with students to watch the GOP debate. In the future we plan to do more events with other groups on campus that we have Free Market Alliances.

My favorite part about tabling on campus is getting students excited and involved throughout the semester but also seeing that people in the community support what we are doing and want to get more involved as well. Getting thank yous from people is why I love working as a field worker it is pure grassroots activism.

Its also great to see the activists in Iowa promoting our message rain or shine, better yet snow or sleet. We have a very dedicated team and I can’t wait to get back at it after spring break!
