From the Field: Elizabeth Amato

How can the semester be ending? It was just yesterday that I had experienced my first day of tabling for Turning Point USA. What a semester it has been! I have never experienced anything like what I went through this semester. To say it has been the best time of my life is an understatement. I cannot thank everyone enough for this amazing opportunity that has been placed in my lap. As most people are glad the semester is coming to an end, I am sad. I do not want the semester to end and hope the summer goes quickly so I can return to campus and make new relationships with new students.

UniversityOfNorthFlorida_04-26-16I do not know where to begin as I reminisce on all the wonderful memories I have. The best part of working this semester, the family I have made with all of Turning Point USA. The staff has not only become such a wonderful support group, but officially part of my family. The love and appreciation I have for each and every one of them is indescribable. The next greatest thing to gaining a family, is the relationships that I have formed with many of the students who have now become my “children”. To see all of them and how they have grown throughout the semester is an amazing feeling to know I have been apart of it. I am so proud of each and everyone of them and cannot wait to see what they have in store for TPUSA next semester.

I look forward to what the summer will bring and to continue forming relationships that are everlasting. It is such an honor to spread the message of Turning Point USA and even more special for me to continue educating our future. Being part of Turning Point USA has been such an uplifting experience and I cannot wait to continue this journey that I am on. I can truly say that I do not think that anything can top the experiences I had this semester, but I know Fall will bring new experiences and people and I look forward to each and every one of them
