Senseless violence has been in the national spotlight, especially with the horrific Rob Elementary shooting that took place just two days ago (Read more about that from TPUSA contributor Drew Hernandez as he reports from the frontlines).
You may have missed what happened a while back, but comedian Dave Chappelle was attacked on stage during his stand-up comedy show.
The deranged lunatic named Isaiah Lee that went viral after attacking comedian Dave Chappelle says that Chappelle’s jokes about homelessness and the LGBTQ community were “triggering.” In an exclusive interview with the New York Post, Lee said:
“I identify as bisexual … and I wanted him to know what he said was triggering. I wanted him to know that next time, he should consider first running his material by people it could affect. I’m also a single dad and my son is 5 It’s a struggle and I wanted Dave Chappelle to know it’s not a joke.”
To the left, speech is violence, therefore actual violence is OK if the speech is ‘violent.’ What a world!
There is just SO MUCH to unpack here, starting with the fact that he describes himself as a ‘minor celebrity,’ which is why he had a gun replica with a detachable knife attached to it on his person when he attacked Chappelle. He’s also currently facing OTHER criminal charges as well:
The viral incident has also led to more criminal charges against Lee: He was charged on Thursday with stabbing his roommate last year. The victim in that case identified Lee as his alleged attacker when the Chappelle incident went viral, prosecutors said.
This is what happens when Leftists don’t get their way. They want to control speech by any means necessary. Let’s just hope that the next lunatic that decides to attack a comedian for “wrongspeak” uses Lee’s story as an example and thinks twice!
