The College Fix recently detailed a new report released by the American Enterprise Institute, which “found that nearly 20 percent of university faculty job listings require a pledge of support for diversity.”
The report says, “Across all 999 jobs [reviewed by the think tank], we find that 19 percent require diversity statements, while 68 percent include the terms’ diversity’ or ‘diverse’ in some fashion, often as a way of describing the university environment.”
When speaking to The College Fix about their findings, the researchers shared that they believed this to be a conservative estimate. Meaning that they believe it’s likely more than 1 in 5 employers actually require diversity pledges and statements from their employees to retain their job or be hired in the first place.
We say it all the time with Turning Point USA–what happens on college campuses never stays on college campuses. The craziest ideas from the left that occurs on the typical leftist cesspool of universities will graduate with you and affect your job afterward… and now the results speak for themselves.
These “diversity pledges” aren’t really focused on improving diversity–they want everyone to look different but think exactly the same.
