Whenever I speak on college campuses, most left-leaning students with questions at the end say they prefer socialism because capitalism is one of the following adjectives: mean, evil, corrupt, exploitative, greedy, wasteful, etc.
Maybe you’ve heard the same claims from your peers on campus?
I have a simple way to start bridging the divide with them on this: let’s start calling out bad business behavior. As conservatives, we believe in applying pressure in the market to provoke needed change. Let’s show our friends on the left. We are happy to stand up to unethical behavior! It’s a simple and easy solution that can go a long way.
