Happy Pride Month everyone.

The Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists (BAC) has been known for its studies on nuclear risk, climate change, and disruptive technologies. Now, BAC wants to focus on “queer theory” for our weapons capability.

BAC released an article for Pride month titled, “Queering Nuclear Weapons: How LGBTQ+ Inclusion Strengthens Security And Reshapes Disarmament.” The article details how queer theory helps the United States’ national security and “reshapes disarmament.” BAC also reaffirms that equity and inclusion for homosexual people is “essential for creating effective nuclear policy.”

“Queer theory helps to shift the perception of nuclear weapons as instruments for security by telling the hidden stories of displacement, illness, and trauma caused by their production and testing.”

If you think that’s bad enough, BAC also claims that nuclear facilities have not been historically fair towards queer people. “Nuclear facilities still have a reputation for being unwelcoming toward queer people and have failed to investigate allegations of homophobia and harassment,” BAC writes. If you disagree with BAC’s claims on queer people in nuclear studies, it argues that you are voicing an argument that is “stagnant and outdated.”

What happened to merit? Has American society forget what true merit, order, and education is? Queer theory is a form of cultural Marxism and should not be allowed in any American institution.

To say homosexual pride and queer theories are completely covering everything in our society is not an overstatement. Go out to your local grocery store, bar, or even shopping center, and you will find rainbow pride everywhere. Now these activists want to sexualize nuclear weapons. During this pride month, we are seeing a true rainbow takeover in nearly every aspect of American life. It’s time to fight back.
