ESPN turned into MSESPN. Colin Kaepernick took a knee. Meritocracy took a backseat to the new woke, identity politics agenda and redefined ideas of diversity, inclusion, and equity.
It’s a shame.
That’s why I am so adamant in my fight to get sports back to being unifying again. Turning Point USA is always arming the masses with the facts, tools, resources, and the truth to win the culture war. Sports are worth saving. Sports have the ability to bring us together, unlike anything else.
If we run away from this fight, the leftist, divisive agenda will run rampant through the games we love and we’ll lose sports forever. Sure, I don’t like the way sports and broadcasts have vilified the police or how leagues have cancelled all-star games because they bowed down to the woke mob, etc. BUT we can’t look back a year from now and complain that sports went so far to the left.
Get in the fight. Voice your opinions. Demand diversity of thought. Call for sports media members to do real journalism. Separate the art from the politics.
Sports are worth saving. Let’s fight together.
