Earlier this month, a professor at George Mason University walked into her classroom to find someone had left behind a Bible.

Instead of emailing her class to figure out who it belonged to, she took it upon herself to call the school’s Bias Incident Reporting Team.

The school encourages all members of the campus community to report negative incidents that could be motivated by bias, and the campus climate website identifies such an experience as an “act of discrimination, harassment, intimidation, violence or criminal offense committed against any person, group or property that appears to be motivated by prejudice or bias.”

The Bias Incident Reporting Team reported the act of leaving a Bible in a classroom “discrimination” and “harassment against religion.”

Better be careful where you leave your Bibles–you & your campus may be next!
