“Roberto is due to give birth to his and Erika’s son Noah any day now.” – Calvin Klein
Calvin Klein celebrated Mother’s Day by spotlighting several women, including a pregnant Brazilian woman who now refers to herself as “Roberto” and pretends to be a man.
“We can produce biologically or from our heart… our place is to love and be loved,” Calvin Klein inscribed across a picture of Roberto, highlighting her pregnancy in Calvin Klein’s Instagram post.

The two additional women featured included a South African painter and a fashion consultant.
Calvin Klein’s ad comes after the Head of the Emoji Subcommittee for the Unicode Consortium, Jennifer Daniel, successfully marketed the “pregnant man” emoji.
As noted in TPUSA’s earlier article, Daniel had also pitched the emoji as a joke intended to be used to communicate overeating at Chipotle.

“The point is: this emoji isn’t just about gender. This is about understanding how language is fluid and representation of a person with a swollen belly has value as an emoji expression,” Daniel had argued.
