Moderna CEO Stephane Bancel appeared on the WEF Summit panel “State of the Pandemic” to discuss the COVID-19 outbreak that has affected the world over the last few years. There, he stated that the COVID-19 pandemic is “still ongoing” and “we all know” there will be more outbreaks and pandemics. He also stated at Davos that his company has a plan to build mRNA vaccine factories on every continent.
While on the panel, Barcel went on to complain about the public discourse that occurred throughout the pandemic about the effectiveness of the vaccine. He argued that countries where all parties agreed the public should get the vaccine had much higher vaccination rates than countries where there was a public scientific and political debate on television and social media. Barcel cited the United States as being one of the worst places in the world for agreement on the COVID-19 vaccine.
This is presumably true, but to complain about public discourse regarding the vaccine goes against the principles of our country. Every individual should have the right to hear all sides of the vaccination argument, then make their own medical decision. But civil discourse about the vaccine wasn’t even allowed in our country for a majority of the pandemic. We now know that Twitter was intentionally suspending accounts of people speaking out against the effectiveness of the vaccine, most notably Dr. Robert Malone and Dr. Petter McCullough who appeared on The Joe Rogan Experience to discuss the adverse affects of the vaccine that are being underreported.
Barcel’s words against those who express hesitancy for the vaccine are proving to be completely hypocritical because of the fact we now know that the COVID-19 vaccines did not stop transmission like the vaccine manufacturers initially advertised. Rebel News journalists Avi Yemini and Ezra Levant confronted Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla in Davos about this major scandal:
