Every year the NSSF host the Shot Show, the biggest firearm convention in the world! After cancelling in 2021 due to COVID-19, the NSSF was excited that 2022 was ready to go! Except for a few big names.
Sig Sauer announced back in October 2021 that they would not be attending. It’s also been confirmed that Beretta Holdings Group will also not be in attendance. Rumors have also swirled around that some other big names will be pulling out of the show in the next week.
A lot of these companies are saying it’s due to the surge of the Omicron variant, but people in the industry just might think otherwise.
A number of companies had record sales in 2021 without the in-person trade shows. A lot of manufacturers and distributors have capitalized on the digital meeting world using Zoom, Microsoft Office, etc.
