Known for leading Congressional opposition to Obamacare, she is a former federal tax lawyer and started a mental health business with her husband Marcus (to whom she’s been married 40 years).
Over the course of her career, she has led an educational reform movement, helped start the first K-12 charter school in the United States, raised five biological and 23 foster children, and is the grandparent of two.
She presently serves as the Executive Director of SkylineUN, a non-profit representing Evangelicals at the United Nations.
She is an author, internationally known speaker, and serves as the co-chair of the Jerusalem Prayer Breakfast.
